Cool shift from pre chorus to chorus, the riffage and drums have the attitude to match the lyrics, really like the feel of this one!

Great sound, and I love "Government by horoscope" as a description.
(We in Canada once had a Prime Minister who was guided by advice from his dead mother and several of his dead dogs. He was no worse than many others.)

I really like the tempo shift on "drive the point home" and there are some great lines in here. I particularly enjoyed the Loch Ness Monster part.

You've got to let it out somehow, Chris. And this is as great an expression of horrified frustration as I've heard in a while. The lyrics are right on point. Love the punchy groove of the chorus. And what is that big sonic boom at the start of the last verse?!

You so much captured this feeling of now: Everything is falling apart and people seem to just have lost their minds. I really like the funky drum beat.

excellent writing in this end-state of the world address. it could go on for several more verses and you still couldnt tell the whole of it. the song is a literate version of what apocalyptic metalheads have been barking about for decades, but rarely in a coherent, human way. we dont need to work hard to decipher the message here. but we really should act on it.
