Banshee (It Never Ends)

These are some old words that I had in a previous FAWM. I always loved the words but was never really happy with the treatment I gave them. and it nags you; not dramatic enough but I think this version really nails it.
The banshee is a supernatural creature thought to appear before there is a death in a village. She combs her hail and wails mournfully.
The topic being a Celtic supernatural creature really needed a Celtic rock feel
Lyrics

When you’re born to fight your way Through a world of sweat and tears The fear is like a vampire stranger Sucking on your tears
And oh how we try to break those walls right down Bricks and mortar made from blood and tears from the poor side of town. Try as you might, you cannot get away Strength of purpose is not enough to win out on this day
It never ends Until the Banshee sings Her fearful song about dark portentous things. When you hear her voice you’re on your way Never to return, nothing left to say (in this world)

When the journey’s over And you reach the promised land We can build a new Jerusalem Hand in loving hand

Epic Celtic rock. ancient myth resurfaces in sounds of Northern soul. I love the doubling of your voice as well as the different voices and sounds throughout. The song never slows down, even when it quiets down it is still building. can't escape the cry of the banshee.

Wonderful tune! Love its expansive sweep in the choruses and the effective lovely tin-whistle lines. The ending is gorgeous. Splendid song!
