what if all the heroes fumble? what if all the wizards fall? I’ll be here to lay beside you keep you safe, keep you well

fortress of blankets tiptoeing tiny feet head all a-tangle saturday eve

rainbows and ruffles wishes and waterfalls mythical kingdoms fairies and thieves

which will fade to fractured memories? some will linger, some will drown caught as wisps on edge of sleeping sparks and strings, food for dreams

I’ll hold this quiet moment I’ll sit and hold my breath watch as you let them go treasured thoughts free to roam

I lived this life with my littles...the next song is when they forget the stories you shared, but you remember all of the words and characters....and miss them and these moments. This is a wonderful, creative write and really good rhymes like Pinafores/doors. The melody is so sweet, the ukulele is the perfect instrument for this. I loved this with my mommy heart!!!

I like the lo-fi scratchy uke with the creamy double vocal. Works super well. Really like the melody - some nice unexpected changes. Flavours of Elliot Smith. Some nice lines too... I like "wisps on edge of sleeping"
