This is a solid character song. I like how the verses shift from lament to reflection. A solid delivery!
too many of my friends have been stuck in this situation. when she doesnt love you anymore, you not dont just lose your wife, but half of everything you own. sometimes its your own time. other times, she just hooked up with somebody else.
This feels like a prequel to that brilliant Travis Meadows song “Learning to Live Along” when the character is still so angry, but you can already see he’s going to grow through this bitterness and come out the other side still scarred but less destroyed.
