Lyrics posted, full demo to follow. #skirmish #rock OK, demo posted now...took longer but I had to shovel the waterlogged snow off my back deck! I was initially aiming for punk, but it came out more Motown or maybe #powerpop. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Love the repetition of turn off the noise. For me it’s reminiscent of the Talking Heads or B-52s. I like the the little pitch shifting flourishes as well. They caught me off guard :)

This is a really strong set of words, particularly so for a skirmish. "I'll take silence over agitation" is great! Nicely skirmished!

Some keen lyrics here, about finding eggs and thirsty while drinking from a firehose. But I especially like the one about the Emperor's new clothes! The shouted line at the end is ironic, no? I hope this gets some music.
