You Never Know
Liner Notes
Sometimes you sit and agonize on how many layers and levels and takes it's gonna take to get a song where it needs to be, and then sometimes you say "hell with it" and knock it out on one track, two takes, a little spritz in garageband, and you post.

Lyrics
I could taste the galaxy inside a sip of wine I could tell you all about it if I thought it's worth your time I could be the one for you, but you never know.
I could write a verse about the light upon your hair I could sing it for you now if I thought you were still there I could be the one for you, but you never know.
I could live forever off the sugar on your skin I could start right now if you show me where I should begin I could be the one for you, but you never know.
Comments
Oof, these lyrics are kind of devastating. Your melodies continue to inspire jealousy and head-bopping. "I could write a verse about the light upon your hair/I could sing it for you now if I thought you were still there" - ššš
That keyboard fits so nicely with the guitar; I can hear a pedal steel or slide guitar solo working with this. Also lol at the "hold for garbage truck."
Lovely sentiment, "live forever off the sugar on your skin" is a great grabber line. Keyboard melody fits perfectly in with the guitar vibe. Props for keeping it real while the garbage truck rolled by.
I like the subtle organ backing in the background of this. The lyric is cool, I like the three verse structure! A great immediate sound, feel like Iām in the room with you, urgent and animated playing gives the song energy. Nice job all round.
Like the lyrics, the tune works for me too, and I admire your ability to just "knock out out". I think that's the spirit of this challenge! Keep up the good work!
The back-and-forth suspension works so well for the sentiment. The imagery and restrained emotion are strong.
