I was interested to hear how the octolute would sound with a bass accompaniment. I like it!

Lyrics

The root of a tree kicked by the boot of a three legged man who can't find the pair of shoes to fit all three feet so he wears a pair on two and a boot on the third and as the man with two shoes and one boot walks down the street he runs into his neighbor a man made of hamburger meat and his wife, a bottle of ketchup and the three walk together to the luncheonette to meet up with the man made of hot dog meat and his wife, a jar of mustard and they drink coffee (except for the wife, the jar of mustard, who drinks herbal tea)

A shoe, a shoe and a boot

I love how the lines of this lyric connect. What an interesting, almost sort of stream-of-consciousness story!

Bass, octolute and melodica each have their own universe. It is striking how put together they develop yet another universe entirely new. It is cinematic and full of mystery. Loved the musical bridge ! The surrealistic story does add to the mystery.

I want to go to that luncheonette, I wonder who or what works there. I mean, what do you serve to a hamburger and bottle of Ketchup? This is a great sound, the bass is so effective. I hear the wives are jealous of the jar of horseradish, she's a little too hot for their husbands.

There's something about the lyric that's a sort of exercise in mindfulness. I found myself really hanging on each word and following along. The end made me chuckle. I'm not sure how it all works, but I found myself much more present and serene at the end

So great! As far as genre is concerned, it's totally different, but the full-on surrealistic approach reminds me of the French singer Rodolphe Burger and his band Kat'onoma. I find the same cradling vibe in your track, as you're painting a soundscape that is filled with meanders, but certainly not incoherent.

Octolute and rubber bass are a really good pairing! The melodica adds something haubting to it! It all sounds mysterious and dreamy! Surreal lyrics at the best! Very good!

Definitely surreal lyrics and interesting music. Edgy, kind of good weird, and enjoyable . I searched but couldn’t find anything, so I got to ask, what is an Octolute?
