I think this is 100% new to this FAWM. Also my first song w/ some overdubs.
I've been double micing my vocals, then duping them, giving me four vocal tracks in one take. I think the results may be making everything muddy.
The distorted overdub was a one take thing and it took me a bit to figure out what to play, but I think it comes out not too bad.

I really (like, really) dig these lyrics. Especially the main line "beat me down I'll get back up"
The doubled vocals sounded good to me in the headphones I'm using. I've been doubling more myself lately, but I'm my case, I'm typically trying to re-sing the same thing, then mix the re-sung tracks left and right at lower volumes. However you did it here works well to my ears.
Your acoustic rhythm is solid and compelling to support the somewhat defiant lyric.
