Love being the first one up in the morning and was speaking with a friend of different waking routines and we both enjoyed being up early, with some time to ourselves. This was this morning with some creative license - LoL - Our wood stove was swapped for a gas fireplace years ago - but everything else true to word :-)
BTW... anything in () is an option I'm considering
Lyrics
V I Snow left town, not a bank around Life began to swoon Morning (Days first) rays crawl through the trees Into our bedroom
Few grey coals left in the stove Comfortable to touch Brew the grind, my silent mind Loves this time so much
C A coffee contemplation Take my journal from the shelf I’ll be open for the day After an hour for myself (or: at 1 hour past myself)
V II Looking toward the meadow, The first blue jay of the spring February 22nd In the arborvitae king
A small explosion of striking color Like no one’s ever seen Brilliant blue, black and white Against the muted evergreen
C A coffee contemplation Take my journal from the shelf I’ll be open for the day At 1 hour past myself
Bridge Every kingdoms standing quiet All with empty crowns Waiting for the budding On every branch from tip to ground
C A coffee contemplation Take my journal from the shelf I’ll be open for the day At an hour past myself
Outro Hear a stir, not from my cup Cock my head and wait Feet falling to the floor upstairs Time to open for the day

Nice one Kevin. So relatable and well expressed. Such a glorious time, I agree.
