Some lyrics I had in my repository from a year or two ago. Honestly, it's probably from a previous FAWM. It's funny how songs and ideas take turns. In this case what was a prechorus became the chorus, and what was the change in the second prechorus became the start of the bridge lines.

Sometimes coming back and revisting an old and somewhat failed idea can bring new light and give you a song where you thought you didn't have one.

I think the second verse here could use a little bit of work, but overall this is a solid first draft and I like the end result here quite a bit.

Solid chorus... solid bridge, too... I agree the second verse could use some attention. Reminds me of an Oasis outtake. Nice work!
