Shame On You

Liner Notes

This track started as an attempt at another house song, but somewhere along the way, it took a turn into something completely different. I built it from the beat up, but the sounds didn’t lend themselves to house music. So I followed where the track wanted to go.

I’ve been rewatching The Beatles Anthology, and some of that early energy seeped in.

Lyrically, I started with the idea of blame and shame. I wasn’t sure who the subject was at first, but as I kept writing, it hit me: what if I’m talking about myself? That realization shaped the rest of the song. #weird #electropop #electronic #fawmtronica

This song is so dreamy. It reminds me a lot of '80s sort of music

Ok now i officially back from retreating i back on my fawm list. And what a way to start. This is so so mega catchy, and i adore the harmonies and chord progressions but the contrast when we hit the verse truly stands this out. Its like a classic theme and then the change of chords is simply stunning. Love it matey

Very groovy! Great melody--some spots reminded me of 90s Sting, and other lines I was getting a little Jon Anderson. Nice job!
