I do hope that @kahlo2013 's love life is in better shape than her love songs. Another great set of words from Liz set to a more chilled EDM tune. The chorus of this reminds me a bit of Go West, a great pop band from the 80s, who were always one of my favourites.

Liz says: it is always a treat to have @daveyboy103 bring his masterful music magic to my words as he has such a strong musical sensibility and is able to turn words on a page into spectacular songs! I truly appreciate his time and talent. And rest assured my love life currently is much less dramatic and dark than what is expressed hereā¦ but I suppose all lyrics capture some bit of our past memories š

such a perfect musical setting for these lovely lyrics. The short choppy verse pieces work perfectly melodically here, and contrast with the chorus "bits and pieces" (which ironically are less separated). I like the transition from bits and pieces to shards and fragments in the bridge.

@daveyboy103 the prompt that the lyric came from asked what song Ozzy was referring to when he said he'd play "bits and pieces" with Sabbath. Which is not to say this song or any from the prompt are Ozzy songs. But that didn't stop me from imagining and having a chuckle.

Great track, I havent heard a lot on the soul/pop genre. The chorus works really well with the "Bits and Pieces" prompt and line.
Also the thought of Ozzy singing this makes me.giggle.

davey really knows how to highlight a refrain without minimizing the verses. and liz writes such terrific verses and they shine so marvelously with davey's musical polish. i love it when my favorite people get to collab and come up with something as exciting as this.

I really get the 1980s electronic emo pop feeling with this one. It could easily pass as a radio hit from that era. Very nice!
