Just another FAWM song. This one came to me as a melody in the night and I had to get up and make a quick voice memo. An odd thing was I found the pitch I wanted when I capo'd on the 2nd fret, and if I change that it doesn't sound right. I'm not really getting the vocal where I want it but maybe a little time. Lyrics are a bit bleak. #acoustic #onetake #singersongwriter

Wow, tough song. Harsh, harsh but then the harshness is undermined with a hint of pleading throughout; a hook in the relationship becomes a hook for the song. Skillful unobtrusive rhymes. The hole in the heart verse is so pointed it's hard to listen to. Strong vocal performance that makes you feel the full power of the words. Desperation made manifest.

[Oh, just noticed that someone else also had trouble with the audio. The first two times I came to this page and clicked on "play" the cassette turned by no audio. The third time, it worked fine.]

Wow, what a powerful and emotional lyric. This gave me chills. Unfortunately the audio won't play for me, but the lyric alone is already amazing.
