#lyricsonly Hats off to anyone still trying something new while the clock is ticking down. Looking around for inspiration, I saw a shuffle dance video with the keywords “brave” and “strong.” That was my starting point.

I like the imagining about what it is the brave thing to be trying. And I really like how the bridge is a big contrast in form with the rest of the lyric.

You never really say exactly what the character is trying, but it gives me the feeling that they are just kinda at a point where they have to do something different. Like it's their breaking point. But I could be completely off base. Maybe they are really just braver than everyone else. :)
