Something You Don't Think Much About

Liner Notes
Sweet... double digits on songs (not including my weekly instrumentals, those are different kind of challenge)...
This one kind of looks at people who stand still in life. They do their best to try and tear down or make fun of anyone trying new things or improving themselves. Years later, they're still doing the same things with the same people at the same places, talking the same BS.
Lyrics
Your perfect little world is a perfect little jail One you built all by yourself And I’m not sure if you can tell at all How it is you’ve come to fall so far
Years spin ‘round while you figure yourself out Does it feel good thinking you have all this clout Taking swings at those who do what your afraid to do Something you don’t think much about
I think it’s easy to guess you felt like you were blessed With each and every failing test Forever a useless tool, sitting up on that stool A prime example of what not to do
Years spin ‘round while you figure yourself out Does it feel good thinking you have all this clout Taking swings at those who do what your afraid to do Something you don’t think much about
Sitting there just like a fool exactly where I left you All those many years ago
Years spin ‘round while you figure yourself out Does it feel good thinking you have all this clout Taking swings at those who do what your afraid to do Something you don’t think much about
I've met so many of these types... I try not to hang around with them too much though! Nice folky sounding guitar to back up the message.
