It find in it the bouncing and hopefull feel I had with the anime I watched in my youth. Maybe the sound texture of the synth plays a role too ? The bridge is less bright, but calm and relax.

Interesting concept. I expected this song to go from dark to light but instead we have an all over happy song with a great 80s sound and good melodies. #Tit4Tat

It definitely put a smile on my ugl.. erm face. I like that there's a little bit of an 80's throwback feel in the rhythm (at least in a place or two), just enough to make aging folks like me hear it, but not enough to be too dated or even too similar. I like the break, too. It's a nice dynamic shift. It isn't exactly UNhappy, but definitely more pondering, thoughtful. And the transition back out of it is wonderful. Almost like a saloon piano or maybe an amusement park theme (definitely more appropriate) but, again, just enough to give me the feels, not enough to throw off the experience.

You're right it's a little feel good happy song. I like it and now I'm happy 🙂
