This is everything I loved about church choir with none of the baggage. Gorgeous work from everyone involved. With H1N1 running rampant it seems as good a time as any to celebrate our feathered friends. This got me a bit choked up... so beautiful and tender, with the perfectly synchronized harmonies and just enough extra bits thrown in to make it really sparkle. A song worthy of nature's greatest vocalists.

Oh this is lovely! Such a great lyric, first of all - the soaring bird imagery works so well. The melody is really strong - especially the chorus lift - and all of the vocal layers sound fantastic, I love the little variations in the second verse.

Wonderful...FAWmer have so much talent! I am an admirer of out fine feather friends and they lyrics capture many of their day to day activities. Those vocals are gorgeous and the solid mix has brought out the best in each contributor. A Winner ! #tit4tat

I couldn't wait to hear this after you described the process at the cocktail party yesterday. I feel like I'm listening to a church choir, holy mama! I love letting these gorgeous harmonies flow into my ears and soothe my aching soul. You are all songbirds bringing us hope.

This feels like a prayer by a community of monks who live on a ranch. Beautiful hear you all come together into something so different from what I think of as your styles. It feels especially poignant now that FAWM’s over. A description of what it’s like to be with all of you for this season.

This has a hymn-like quality. Very tight harmony. I’m a backyard bird watcher so especially enjoyed these lyrics. The final chorus especially soared.

I love the way the melody glides and dips like a bird in flight! Quite a chorale you all have created. Some nice surprises in the descants, suspensions and bits of humor!
