Something for the chase, fog horns. Strange oars. Fate. Destiny.
Lyrics
The Boat and the Breathless Sea (The Threshold)
Mise-en-scène: The boat—worn and borrowed—slices into the black, breathless sea. The sky—starless. The air—too still.
Mise-en-scène: The wood creaks. The water laps, indifferent.
Protagonist: "The boat—We didn’t ask whose it was. Didn’t care. The water—Didn’t ask either."
Companion (low, almost listening): "It’s… Waiting."
Mise-en-scène: The Protagonist’s grip tightens on the oar.
Protagonist: "Good. So are we."
Companion (a dare, voice steady): "Let it see us."
Comments
Evocative as heck, a fine movie for the mind. Love the brooding feel that is maintained throughout.
Nice poem and some eerie music. I like it!
Nice layered soundscape. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
