Liner Notes

This tune originally began as just a loop of G and A, which I was using to try and make a Weezer-sounding template last year... then, perhaps inevitably, a melody appeared, which I tucked away for FAWM.

The lyrics might sound a bit cryptic if you're not from NZ, but anyone who IS from NZ will know exactly what/who it's about. (Spoiler alert: It's about our piss-poor landlord-loving excuse of prime minister. Yes, he does have a bald head. Looks like a frickin' egg.)

Took ages to mix this vocal. God I hate my voice. Got a few more in progress to get done by the end of this month...

I'm so impressed with your production! Great guitar sound, doubled vocals, drums - it's all there. And that synth is killer. I think we all hate our own voices, but that's what FAWM is about - getting positive feedback. And eventually confidence develops. John Lennon didn't like his voice either...but he taught us all how to double-track and make things interesting.
