This song is dedicated to Monty the cat, who has an uncanny knack of knowing exactly when I've pressed record and chooses that time to sit on the lyric sheet that I'm singing from...
For those interested in the gear -
This was recorded on a Zoom R8 using the internal effects and microphones. Pretty much all of it was played on my £5 Lidl Ukulele. The percussion was played on the back of the ukulele with the addition of my guiro, a shaker and some hand clapping. The bass is a Squire precision bass.

Ooh. I listened to another song with an "$11 Lidl Ukulele" ... not sure it was FAWM now I think of it 😐 but it was this week. Anyway, you got a bargain by the sounds of it.
The myriad percussion come through nicely -- the scrapey thing is my favourite.
p.s. I think you could have committed those lyrics to memory if I'm honest. Say "hello" to Monty.

That rhythm track is fabulous, plus the uke melody and this has a Mid East or African vibe. Clear you're having fun with your cat. Bit-of-fun is the perfect tag for this!

I am looking up Zoom R8. I have been thinking about production this post FAWM, and planning to set something up in my basement. Wonderful inspiration here in your song.
