Skirmish: Stalking Anthem (@roblyon5150)Liner Notes

Not my usual genre, but I started Fawm late this year, with only a few days to go, so I told myself I'd do every skirmish at least until I hit 14. Sooooo, Dark it is! ;)
Lyrics
Slim dark figure fully clad in black, Like a panther stalking to attack, Closely watching your every move, Knows there's nothing he has to prove.
Soon you'll see him when you close your eyes, Open them and he'll be in disguise, Creeping every night into your dreams, Like a puppeteer he'll pull the strings.
Chorus: A Shadow's Watching you, A Shadow, Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do?
As you walk so proudly through your day You don't know the games you're gonna play It will be a macabre carnival, It will have you coming when he calls, Waiting for his calls Waiting for his calls
Chorus: A Shadow's Watching you, A Shadow, Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do?
A Shadow's Watching you, A Shadow, Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do?

Definitely captured the creepy well; I like the use of repetition, on the whatcha gonna do's and the waiting for his calls. Can be tough sometimes when the skirmish prompt isn't in your wheelhouse, but you rose to it.
Ooo this is fun and spooky! I could see this as a new Halloween hit. Love this repeating line : It will have you coming when he calls, Waiting for his calls Waiting for his calls
Creepy and fun 🤩
This is the second song of yours I thought I had already commented on. Weird. Anyway, very intriguing, creepy and dark. Great skirmish.
Ooh this is super creepy! I like the darkness of it... And how compelling it is gonna be, too. shivers
I was going to maybe do this prompt at some point, but let's be honest, it would just be about my cat again LOL.
This lyric has such a great cadence and paints a deliciously dark haunting image! Fabulous skirmish response!
This is appropriately ominous. I like the way it builds up the suspense level. Nice work!
Can imagine this working with really creepy music. The Chorus is particularly effective!
I like this -- it's creepy and macabre without giving everything away; I dig when a song puts the listener right in the middle of the action, especially when the situation is a disturbing one! (I'm a big fan of songs in the second person, anyway!) It's lyrics like these that almost convince me to try some collab next year! #tit4tat
