volume warning, may be loud!

"Write another metal song, you will power through it quickly, no worries." So the muse said. But I did not know what lay before me.

There are not as many odd time sigs this go around. This one became unwieldy and was subject to some rewriting but it finally came together. Another clean section, no time to write a guitar solo but I wrote a little one for bass. Added a hip hop type beat. I'm particularly fond of the intense breakdown at the end. Pulling it together for the final stretch.🙏

Whoa! Some wild riffage going on - it seems to sit right between the rough edges of old school mathcore and more precise modern prog sound. That interlude is pure bliss too.

Ohh, this is amazing! There's a real lack of this type of music in FAWM, or so I thought! Very Misha Mansoor in a good way.

This is sonething different. Flows very well and everything just feels like it was meant to be while the recipe does not sound obvious. Which is why it is so good. And I am not big on instrumentals but did not care.

Not sure what the dissonant close notes are doing but they are bouncing off the walls of my brain quite nicely.

this carries your trademark prickly and joyous swagger, but the hip hop beat at 2m01s took me elsewhere :::: that was a fun turn, and the bass solo was cool too

i got mid-perios RUSH vibes from the riff at 1m16s, but that might just be me, haha
