So the chorus and fever referenced here are about a drive home from a camping trip in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I got super sick on the last day and had to drive what is normally a three-hour drive but took me six hours because I had to keep pulling over to die. I mean try to sleep but couldn't. This somehow seemed a fitting end to FAWM and politics and existential dread and yet Hope and Love waiting for me at home... actually just my bed for two days of sleep! Anyone else with me? Hurray for #fawm but Bob Slam I'm tired.
Lyrics
Headache
When you deconstruct your struggles And the darkness starts to fade to light And they ask, was it all worth it Love and life are always worth the fight
Headache, Lean my head against the cold glass I’ll drive as fast as I can This fever's burning me Come alive Skate or die! Feeling just fine When I turn my thoughts to you
What does it really mean to live this If it’s all about resistance to this petulance What does it mean to love your neighbors When your head is in his crosshairs

Yes, I love the use of a physical headache as the exploration of your experience of the political climate. Introspective, thoughtful, punk. Well done!
Hey there! This is a fine ending for another fawm. Great opening lines. I think it's both cool and clever using your headache as a springboard into a song about sorting things out and making sense of this existence especially in our current climate. The music is absolutely perfect for the lyrics. Well done.
Love the lines: "Feeling just fine When I turn my thoughts to you" Another great track, the music makes it seem light but is so profound.... Kudos
