I was drawn by the creative title and so I wanted to see what it is all about. Those guitar strums sounds like rain drops. Your voice is reminiscent of a time I haven't experienced yet.

I definitely know the feeling of needing to get past something. However, there's a megaton of coolness here, from the opening drums to the guitar. I really feel like dropping a more percussive vocal in here, something closer to rap (okay, I wouldn't rap) or spoken word. That said, I do like the your languid delivery. Love the capitalized run of words. Pure!
