Hahahaha, I love the rhumba-dancing fish in the reef! Very sing along-able chorus and short enough that you don't mind how often it comes back.

Fun song. Good lyrics. Great way to enjoy a party imagine all those people in different situations. Everybody ought to try that gimmic.

Ha ha “never crack a smile, afraid they’ll break their face”. I have been to my fair share of UN-relaxing parties like that. I like your driving rhythm - keeps that tension, and the lyrics with their thoughts back to old times, is exactly what you might be ruminating on - at a tense get together.

Oh yes, liking the skiffle feel, I can hear this with tea chest bass too! The school of fish verse is especially excellent, but really the whole lyric is delightful. Splendid write 😊

Love the angle you took on this😊. I can relate to not being able to relax at a party, feeling like you're outside of it all - I like the positive coping mechanism you suggest, a great life hack. My favourite lines are Never gonna crack a smile Afraid they'll break their face (which made me crack a smile). That guitar playing is brilliant, like how you slip-slide around the progression, clever playing.
