Outro

Liner Notes

Every album needs an outro, right? In past years I've crammed in an acoustic one-take as the final track, but as I'm not around tomorrow morning, I figured I'd do it properly, and in plenty of time.

So long, FAWM25... You have been truly special 😀

epic stuff, I see the crazed organist in the Cathedral, the curtain opens and the band emerges!,building building! super way to sign out!

Epic outro. cinematic and adventurous. Very creative work.

That fade in at the beginning of this song is pretty cool. It was as if it is preparing me for something epic. Those harmonic effect guitars are really cool too (I think that is what they are called). A really cool way to exit this fawm!

A fine outro. Got my head banging and anticipating the next album.

This sounds great, perfect outro to this year's FAWM. Well done!

@emplate

A heavy goodbye. I love that grandiose intro, and of course the guitars, especially the leads, are stellar as well.

A proper way to end a metal FAWM! For some reason it reminds me of At the Gates's The Flames of the End, not sure if that makes any sense. I've thought of making a similar outro for many years, but never did it for some reason. Couldn't pull off the orchestral stuff anyway, though.

like how the drums coming creeping in.... and the mood changing from open landscape to something mischievous going on...

@gordon

Very cinematic and a very smooth change into the guitar part. A suitable closer indeed. It has been a grand FAWM this year has it not?

There's a tradition of dirge-y tracks being used as album closers, and I this falls under that category. Very cool transition into the heavy section. Love how present the bass is, great tone. Very cool and unusual harmonies in the guitar lines. As they say on my favorite metal podcast "Thrash It Out," the best indication of a good closer is whether it makes you want to flip the tape over and listen to the album again. And in this case, I think you nailed it (song and album). Well done!

Yeah that’s a super sick orchestral part. And a fantastic transition into the guitar. This is what I call an outro! What an epic send off to an epic fawm.
