Slush

Liner Notes

#slothcore #electronic #fawmtronica

Last minute slothcore entry. Maybe light on distortion but Dick Dale and Leo Fender worked hard and long to make the Dual Showman clean. Good for surf-sloth.

Synths: Avatar (HG Fortune) Thorn Pendulate theRiser (Transitions)

Guitars: '64 Fender Jaguar

Amp: '67 Fender Dual Showman

Constructive criticism is always welcome. Tell me all about it!

Had to listen to this to discover what surf sloth would sound like, and it's even better than I imagined. That Jaguar has a tone and a half to it. There's plenty to chew on with the sound design all the way through (strong David Lynch/Angelo Badalamenti vibes for me) but I particularly love the way you come back from the nap.

Nice! 🦥🎶 love the experimental sounds and nods to surf. I think now… you just need to play the tape at half speed and have it be even more sloth-y. ;)

S…l.. o… t… h…. At its finest! Love the different layers of sound and the journey the sloth takes us on…. Sounds like we could be exploring the Paris sewers… and great use of phasing, pacing, and pauses!

Sloth core is pretty low key, and this is that. I suppose in slothcore terms that guitar line is shredding!
