ok, so I cheated and did the 2nd verse same as the first routine... and now as I'm writing this there's still 15 minutes to spare... I could have written a second verse... but then would i have had time for the live drums and bass guitar? bah! I have no regrets... A HAPPY ENDING is writing a pretty ok song in less than an hour. and posting it to the interFAWM. of course, the chords are overused and predictable... bah. I'M happy.
Happy ending to a happy FAWM y'all...
Lyrics
Writing on the mall
All’s well that ends well, they said they said If we “don’t look up” We’ll wind up dead The writings on the wall after all… What does it mean to live What does it mean to live
Happy endings means accepting our regrets We lived deliberately, in the tank, there’s nothing left We’ve left it all out on the field Yo this is for real And if these are our final moments… I’m so glad that you’re my friend!

yeah, you nailed it. Punk energy and a positive vibe. Great anthemic chorus with a perfect turn at the end to personalize it with " I'm so glad that you're my friend!". Well done!
This is a tune after my youth. Strong Days n Daze vibes! What are you using for recording? I love the fuzziness
Amazing energy and urgency here. Love it!!
This is a fantastic skirmish result. Letting yourself just play the first chords that came to you let this feel like a classic. I love the energy in the performance and the singalong punk vibe. "Happy endings means accepting our regrets / we lived deliberately, in the tank, there's nothing left" is great, especially when the flipped clause works so well when you sing it!
This is a very catchy song that has great punk feel. What does it mean to live? is a great line!
Love the energy, nicely done. Though the title seems a bit confusing... But love the track, the way you pack wisdom in such a casual way is simply awesome 👏
