It was nearly twelve hours later That I got to bed Afloat on beers, High on gin Capped with several reds
Then sometime after four a.m. I got up for the loo My feet went out, My head went light My lights went red to blue
I died laughing, Clutching the results, There’s been a mix-up somewhere, I forgot the lightning bolts.

Fun dissonant melodic piano provides a great backdrop for this funny (but meaningful) lyric. Especially poignant this morning as I hear of a musician friend diagnosed with throat cancer that he has decided to not treat.

Love the barroom piano feel. I actually woke up at around 4am to go to the loo and listened to this then. The irony was not lost on me😆 Nice work FT 😎

What a madcap adventure this song is! Love the outlandishness of the tale, love the helterskelter fun and games of the piano. Really well delivered guys, and really good fun!
