Liner Notes
Tim sez: @frontrowotago threw this lyric at me at the start of FAWM. I hoped to get the music finished shortly but not before the site shuts alas! However, here NOW is a #lo-fi #one-take #guywithpiano

I nearly died laughing When the doc showed me the results “There’s been a mix-up somewhere,” I said “But we all have our faults”.
There was no way I was unwell, No way I was sick No way that my tests Could explain this kind of schtick
He looked up from the document Looked back at the screen Out of body, Out of mind If you know what I mean
I went home in a taxi By the way of lunch A detour of four hours With that dear old bunch
It was nearly twelve hours later That I got to bed Afloat on beers, High on gin Capped with several reds
Then sometime after four a.m. I got up for the loo My feet went out, My head went light My lights went red to blue
I died laughing, Clutching the results, There’s been a mix-up somewhere, I forgot the lightning bolts.

Laughing is a good way to die! I like the ragtime spirit here. Fun lyrics.
Fun!!
Fun dissonant melodic piano provides a great backdrop for this funny (but meaningful) lyric. Especially poignant this morning as I hear of a musician friend diagnosed with throat cancer that he has decided to not treat.
Love the barroom piano feel. I actually woke up at around 4am to go to the loo and listened to this then. The irony was not lost on me😆 Nice work FT 😎
What a madcap adventure this song is! Love the outlandishness of the tale, love the helterskelter fun and games of the piano. Really well delivered guys, and really good fun!
Ah yes, our refusal to face reality when the reality we have to face is un-faceable. Mortality is a bitch!
Ooh! This was fun! Know it is tragic too but it IS funny. Nice write 👏
Not sure whether to laugh or die 🫣 But it does sound like something write up Flying Tadpoles alley. Let me know if it gets a demo before the ides of March 😎
Ha! This is very clever lyric writing. Can't wait to hear the demo!
Totally stunning piano! And I particularly liked: "Out of body, out of mind, if you know what I mean."
