I like your vocal delivery. Sounds great with the piano chords underneath. I could listen to you recite lyrics like this for hours. Quite an accomplishment really 'cause my attention span is calibrated for social media!

Splendidly atmospheric lo-fi glory. Tom Waits as comics nerd? I can see that.

(I still have all my copies of Deadline magazine. Hewlett and Martin! Philip Bond! D'Israeli! Um... I'll get me coat. )

I wasn't expecting this to be so tender and melancholy... Tank Girl when the nitrous wears off and arthritis sets in. Really beautiful, so much depth in the vocals and that piano is delicious. I love how this meanders, going where it wants to go. The background chatter works somehow, sets this into a place and time... not just a song but a scene, a mood.

I love the melancholy sound of this ... reminds me a bit of Tom Waits, musically, and the vocal has shades of John Cale. Good work!
