Now's The Time

Liner Notes
Got to thinking about workers today, and how much crap they go through because of the bosses. And then I saw "Now's as good a time as any" on a list of clichés, and generated a chord progression... and then there was a song. Enjoy.

Very nice folk oriented song here, the finger picking floats perfectly in the genre and the theme of a protest is a classic one. I like how the beginning of the song starts out with "now's a good time as any" and that theme slowly builds until the end and all doubt is eliminated and the passive becomes active with "now's the time". For the chorus, i especially like the treatment of the last line "remember who we'll be" (as it should be). The chorus repeat at the end is interesting and flows together really well.
Mashing up all the cliches actually maximizes the effect of the lyrics! I love the guitar playing, so easy to listen to! Great delivery and great listen 💚
A very nice, hopeful protest song. I appreciate the honey rather than vinegar approach.
I love it!
Good "fight" song. I also love your 'determined and fierce' approach.
I love how this is so determined and fierce but at the same time really quiet and understated. Sometimes there’s more power in that than in shouting. Nicely done!
This is very bard-like in feel. A true folk protest song.
