Dr Awkward

Challenge: PALINDROMELiner Notes
This baritone #ukulele #nonsense arose from the palindrome challenge. I might have jumped the shark already. I think all I can really say in its favour is that it was fun trying to explain the story behind a couple of well known palindromes.
But then I got a bit bored and just strung a few more together that rhymed. #fuc
Lyrics
The monks were meditating No-one made a sound Silence in the temple Cross legs on the ground
When in ran an Alsatian Sharpened teeth in view Barking, growling, snarling while We panic in a pew
Everything was manic Until the fuss was over A dog, a panic In a pagoda
My name is Dr Awkward And I think it best To keep things in good order Step on no pets
I couldn't tell you what it was From such a brief encounter I only had a glimpse of it At sixty miles an hour
It might have been a Jaguar With either wheels or paws Was it a car or A cat I saw?
My name is Dr Awkward And you might think me odd But the question I put forward is Do geese see God?
Mr. Owl ate my metal worm He was too hot to hoot Pull up if I pull up Too bad I hid a boot
My name is Dr Awkward And you might think me odd Drab as a fool, Aloof as a bard Do nine men Interpret? Nine men I nod

These things get my brain in a knot. But I think I finally got all of them. Funny tune.
Wow, palindromes! I especially like "a dog, a panic in a pagoda" but then, all the others, and then of course Dr Awkward himself. Very clever, and the tune's not too shabby either!
It takes a real "tune nut" to come up with a song like that.
Wow. That’s impressive that there are so many!
Well you fitted in plenty, I felt like it was a daily challenge to find all of them! Dumb here got them all I think but guess what DrAwkward was last ha ha. Well that past a while and a couple of listens thx, must have a lie down now!
Dr. Awkward is best palindrome. I was not familiar with that one and it's great. The verses are gold, I loved the way you combined the ones about monks and dogs to create a silly and chaotic scene. Got that classic Edwin B. bouncy uke rhythm, too, which fits here.
Very creative. It took me a minute to see how you were putting the palindrome in there, but as silly as it is, it works!
very clever. Some odd imagery in this one but they are all palindromes.
I think i got them all.
