My first #FUC song of the year. #girlwithukulele
This one is about several things, that for me, all sort of mesh together. I want things for myself this year - i want simplicity. I want to enjoy small moments. I want to appreciate beauty. I want to garden. I want to be kind. I want to not buy much, and be intentional when I do. I want to do it all in a slightly rebellious way. I also hope to influence others to choose kindness through small actions. I hope to influence others to do "little deeds" that empower them to live life with a calm happiness that can't be taken from them, avoiding oppression wherever they can, growing where they can, etc. I guess this is the gentlest of #protest songs.
I'm not very good at naming songs and usually just choose a lyric. Does this name work well? Wwyd?

I checked this out because of the title and got sucked in by the opening line. You are a master of melody, singing out a message that resonates with me. I, too, have hope that all these little deeds will add up to something. Thanks for writing this sweet song.

I'll be honest, I'm not much into music with ukuleles but the chords here are great and your voice fits this like a glove. Very nice. Kind of reminds me of the melancholy songs from the 70s (total compliment). I'd call the song "All These Little Deeds".
