Blue cheese blues
Liner Notes
Ambroise : I like to sing in english but I’m still toddling with the pronunciation. When @metalfoot did a full song in french, it was kind of inspiring. Then @marthie published those words and it hit a soft spot. Plus maybe my french accent wouldn’t harm the song, given the theme… (Oh and yes a blues on blue cheese is the kind of dad jokes I like)

Lyrics
Blue cheese stink tastes wonderful It brings attitude to the table of fun Sliced on crackers Crumbling my resistance A holy presence of milk uplifted.
Marbling of blue Moments we do Conversation starter A big divider between no-go And religious followers of veiny goo.
Oh how I love it, miss it, adore the delicate Mischief of cheese piled high The ultimate, the knees to the floor- then bring it The only temptation I can never say no for.

This is great. The lyrics are fun, and the blues treatment of them is very effective, with cool harmonica lines. The French accent compliments the performance perfectly.
This is a blues I can get on board with!! Sassy lyrics by @marthie ("mischief of cheese piled high" "holy presence of milk") but your delivery is so persuasive!! I particularly love the passion with which you sing "Oh how I love it, miss it," etc. I believe you really do! And the harmonica playing is as tasty as the cheese!! well done all around! Now where did I put my cheese slicer... #tit4tat
I don't think you need to worry about English pronunciation too much - your accent as you sing is adorable. Blues on blue cheese is very cheesy, but it works and I love the blues vibe - harmonica playing is very good and the lyrics are fun. #tit4tat
Very cool vocal delivery, even in English! A fun little tune made even better by the bluesy harmonica. I like the way you sing the last verse with passion! Cheese is good.
I love, Love, LOVE this song! What fun! First, I just wanna say I enjoyed your vocal performance quite a lot and love your accent! It enhances this song quite nicely! A sweet blues vibe and that harmonica is awesome! The lyrics are such a treat (as nice as blue cheese!) Some truly great lines here like "Crumbling my resistance", "Mischief of cheese piled high" and "A holy presence of milk uplifted". OMG, your lyrics are making my mouth water!! A really special collaboration that puts a smile on my face and a hunger in my tummy! Thank you both!! #tit4tat
Aaah this is great. Such a fun one and I love your accent, it sounds great. Some really good lines here too 😊
Ha ha ha! What a fun song. I love blue cheese too. Great lyric and melody too. Well done you two! This put a smile on my face.
As a fan of bleu cheese, I had to listen. This is utterly charming. Love the cheesy metaphors ("crumbling my resistance"). Great rhymes. Your voice works great with this. Ok, now I gotta go eat some Point Reyes Blue.
As a profound lover of cheese, I couldn't skip that one! The "holy presence of milk upliftedi" and "marbled with ble" are such a great descriptions! I think this works well as acoustic song with the harmonica addition!
Cool to hear you in English! It still has that little French touch but it contributes the song. We all know your country has an impressive pile of excellent cheese!
The blues for the blues is perfect. I had the good fortune to play at a cigar box guitar festival in France a couple of times and got quite used to hearing the blues sung with a french accent. I love it. Super cool 😎
This is brilliant! I love the bluesy music and the lyrics make me smile! Love the vocals and the cool harmonica! Delightful!!!!
Nothing better than a cheese addiction. Great song
I managed not to get a lactose-intolerant reaction to this song! 😜
I love the idea of "crumbling my resistance" . Plus, it sounds great ! And i agree, blue cheeses are among the best !
Ah I love this breezy cheezy ode! My favorite line has got to be “ A holy presence of milk uplifted” - very clever and accurate according to this resident of Wisconsin (known as the cheese state around these parts!)
Perfect. Thank you you did your magic magnificently.
I can relate to that tasteful temptation! To do a blue about blue cheese is such a great idea which you managed perfectly! Love the harmonica! Enjoyed this very much! And who else could be the right person to sing a blue cheese blues then a French one?!
OMG this is fantastic. My favorite lyrics are "Sliced on crackers / Crumbling my resistance / A holy presence of milk uplifted." The blues treatment totally works here and I love the harmonica. I even love the accent. It's somehow elevates it. 🤓
