Liner Notes

At long last, I finally get to put a produced demo on FAWM! This is a collab with my friend Echo Wildemoon, who isn't on FAWM but is a brilliant musician and songwriter. We had so much fun with the many, many key changes and funky 7 chords and that delicious Ebm in the bridge.

As demos go, it's pretty barebones. I haven't done any automation on it and overall it's a rough sketch, but I'm so happy with it and I feel like it gets the idea fully across. Please enjoy!

Oh man, my stomach is sinking. This is beautiful, and I hate that we’re in the position of being able to write songs like this. Great imagery. So much soul in your voice. Thanks for using your gift to express about this type of experience. It’s really cool how the percussion changes later in the song.

Ooo, this is a vibe. I love melodic choice on "Oh" in the chorus, and the music dropping out on "personal reality / here in the fallout" builds just the right amount of really delicious tension. The bridge is a perfect changeup, too. Really gorgeous work!

The images are so stark and intense. Feels like falling down a giant hole of regret. Very effective. Really beautiful vocal to go with this cool, subtle track.
