Not my usual fare and not what I thought would be my first submission this fawm. Strange times. I have been recovering from a chest infection and my voice is a little come-and-go. The title is a line from America the Beautiful, as performed by Ray Charles, from which I also borrowed a few chord progressions.
I did use AI for a little treat at the end of the song.

Oh wow! Great call on the chorus - it really hits with that melody - how very not beautiful things are right now. The lyrics are a work of art - you literally got all the shenanigans in there and wove it all together so well. Saw the title in the sidebar and had to click and I'm so glad I did! Everything about this—the Back to the Future references, the call-outs, the rhymes, the delivery—is just top-notch. I puked a little at the very end having to hear his voice but at least we agree on how good this song is.

Oh, I'm laughing so hard! I came across this because I clicked on #firstfruits, but was not expecting this. Maybe not my general idea of first fruits, but oh, it packs a punch and pretty much expresses what so many of us are feeling. The image of Trmp and Msk flying off to Mars in a SpaceX rocket on a one-way trip fills my heart with joy! Very clever - great delivery!
