Ladies Must Swing is a phenomanal big band jazz group in Madison that play around the area! This is a nod to them. I elected to post an AI demo as it seemed unlikely during FAWM that there would be a big band collab! But if you make big band music, this is open for you!

Wow ! Played it three times in a row and it made me dance each time! Congrats to you for playing Sumo, the AI. That is a skill I don't have. But I'm more impredsed by the voice. The sound of it and the vocal technique, yes, but also the attitude. I can hear your shine and roar like a trumpet horn. AND the way you recorded it: the reverb, the double voice and the way your mixed it with the rest. Your voice is the big shot of this orchestra Also I love how cinematic the lyrics are. I can see black and white, 50's suits and big camera movements, Orson Welles style... Finaly, it raised a question : why do the Ladies must swing and the gentlemen so rarely ? Maybe I could make another song form that question mark.

Oh, that's cool! On my first radio job, we did a big band Sunday afternoon that was regular shift. I learned to love that sound. This would have fit right is, as ai nailed the sound and vibe. So upbeat and danceable. A solid tune!

Having just posted a ‘swing’ lyric with no music, I had to check this out. Oh wow! This really does swing. Love the lyrics and to be honest, having AI do the music is totally justified when this is the result 😎

I like the way the song starts with a presumably well-known place. It sets up the special moment that the song describes. I like to hear songs about bands, whether real, disguised, or invented, and this shows me a band that I can easily imagine.

This is fabulous!! WOW. What production. Your vocals blew me away - go directly to Broadway and do not pass go! Kudos to whoever provided the instrumental parts. The off-tune piano is great. How much of this was AI, and where can I find that website?
