Inspired by the current conflicts where people are fighting back against oppressors. Could also be interpreted as a filk for any number of sci-fi and fantasy worlds, of course. Up to you. Enjoy.

I love that this is an uplifting, positive-focused "all purpose" protest song! Well done with those lyrics and the driving guitar rhythms!

Beautiful and topical. Protest songs are best when delivered with such an uplifting melody and a driving strumming pattern. And, yes, it can be interpreted a lot of ways. We need more of this energy!

Lovely rhythm and energy to this song. Really nice sound too and full of an uplifting spirit and fervour. A song of protest for a time when protest is required!

I really like that chord progression. The fast strum really ups the intensity, while you lovely smooth vocals provide a nice contrast. Gosh I really like this song! I love the positivity which really need, and also the feeling of camaraderie which we also could use more of. I also like how you wrote it openly enough for different interpretations. The chorus is going to be in my head in a good way for a while. Fantastic ending also 👏 👏

Great positive lyrics here. We do need to keep our head above the water and keep going. Signed, a scientist supported by government funding that’s potentially in danger right now

This hits close to home for me, as part of a household of public servants. I could hear this being played on the picket line, or as you say, a battle cry in a sci-fi/fantasy world. We're all in this together. This is the way. Thank you for writing this.

Very nice protest song and very empowering and positive somehow

This is a brilliant song. You bring a lot with your acoustic and your vocals. But I'd love for a small guitar solo to follow the bridge. I think it would polish this song perfectly. Great stuff!
