Its been a tough year relationships wise , full of emotion swings and more, but the pain and difficult times have produced so much understanding, learning and insights. There's so much we bring to relationships that often is from hidden past traumas or struggles, so to recognise those with someone and to be vulnerable and honest around it truly opens up a new wonderful space, even if one's been in a relationship for a long time. So this is me just recognising a few things from the last year in relationships, and in many ways being pretty humbled by the depth of connections and feelings.
Musically, i not too happy and could prob do more with the drums and the variety. It started out as a fairly simple folk repetitive riff on the mandolin based tune, but i felt it needed a bit more.
Lyrics
I crumble in her gaze I tumble with the haze then i fall down then i fall down a process to wall the maze
A contract has been made universe makes us wait Till i come round (to feel more) a testing ground (to be trust) to release a known old game
So when you fall scrambling those walls can you let that grip fade So a new day can feel my soul say can we listen to save our child's own way, releases pain
I come back round - i see you fall I'm run aground - you stand so tall then i am found - up build more walls my head falls down - you glow from the call the lost and found -its the same path to feel it all - in the same cup so lets come round to be annica fill our world
be the heart, not the head

I love the lines "A contract has been made/ universe makes us wait". I also really get you were saying about growth and challanges. It's definitly interesting times and I am always amazed by people to seize an opportunity. For my part I learned that "Twin Flames" are just another word for big trouble:-)
Always the magic with you`re songs. This one is really moody! Love it.
Loving the sentiment, your exposure the initial simplicity, then how it builds. Great tune.
What a journey! I enjoy the soundscape and production of this one a lot. So far my favourite from you this year
The opening drew me in straight away. You have created such a rich soundscape and I love your vocals!
I just love this so much, I love the changes of pace, the warmth of the intention of the lyrics, the vocal layers. I hope writing it brought some clarity around what is going on in your life! x
Oh wow, all those acoustic arpeggios are amazing. I love your chord choices and the tone really shines so richly. Brass! unexpected and sounds great. Man, this is really fantastic. So anthemic and great, memorable melodies. I'm really glad it returned to the acoustic bit at the end cos I wanted more of that. I reckon an extra couple of minutes with an extra breakdown in the middle would go amiss in this tune. More is more!
I love how spacey this is, and when it kicks in and gets tighter about halfway through that's extra satisfying!
This is magnificent. The big production suits the climb and fall of the words and the big energy or synergy that's happening. I like your singing too.
Wow. Dude. What a gem! Totally caught me off guard with the high melody at the get go. Fucking love this psychedelic vibe and production! So washy, but then the percussion busting thru... The lyrics are so ambiguously awesome. And thank you for your vulnerability and wise thoughts on the liner notes. I'm sorry it's been a tough year for you.
I listened to this walking around in a suburban park that has a lot in common with a parking lot on a day that’s cloudy and much colder than sunny yesterday. This music feels like just the right soundtrack. Made me think about the similarities between wishing the weather was warmer and wanting a relationship to good the way it was in a maybe imagined past. It feels like there’s room for doing the work of recognizing what you both need to and sometimes managing it and sometimes failing, but always aspiring to start again.
