This is another #slackcollab This started because I'm now a hardened criminal. I bought some grapes today and the scale totally got the weight wrong and only charged me 8cents for like 4lbs. @metalfoot declared that I am now known as "8CentGrape$". In typical #slackchat fashion we all just started writing silly rhymes and now we've got a full blown hiphop track.

This is so fire. I don't think I ever thought I'd hear someone spit lines about 'charcuterie' and the like. What a blast this was. The uke solo was amazing as well.

Loving the lofi rap mixed with the clean singing. This has some groove and it's just such a fun vibe! Also thank you for a making a nice loud mix. Bout blew my speakers when I switched over to this tune. Kickass job yall!

I know very little about tha hip hop other than they play lots of it at our gym. This track sounds just like one of them and I now have the urge to repeatedly pick up very heavy things and put them down again. Pavlov's hip hop...? 🤔 🤣

Well, this is a lot of fun, from the lyrics to the vocals to the mixing (blending?). Carley's backing really does add a layer.
Good message, too. So much rap nowadays is just an excuse to let out a little wine. I say this as someone without skin in the game. Thanks a bunch for this.
I can foresee further adventures in the supermarket for our spirited protagonist- no doubt some turf war between the blood oranges and the Cripps apples.
