Glittering like tinsel in the soft moon's glow
Shards of glass like diamonds fly
As the night moans softly, a fleeting sigh
A breeze stirs gently through the broken frame,
A car speeds up and is gone
The world outside feels cold and wide,
As stars and stories in the night collide
An active shooter somewhere at large Speeding away in a stolen car A second later a second before Things would have worked out different

Poetic description of a shooting, it really took me a moment to get the story together. Good lyrics, good song. Great skirmish!

This is quite impressive for an impromptu performance of a story in song form. The music and delivery capture the wonder and suspense, while the narrative is unsparing in its detail.

Wow! This is a fabulous creation! I love the vivid image from the book. What a great sentence and you took it an created such a powerful and profound song. Incredible! Your driving guitar and emotive vocals with the haunting ending make this song so intense and compelling. Incredible skirmish!

Definitely an evocative line to pull a song out of! This is an excellent little bit of storytelling.
