Spoiled Rotten (*grunge)

Liner Notes
(*Number 7 of my 14 orig lyrics for my THE FAWMERIZED ALBUM!)
A little love song of sorts to, or at least for, the human condition, as it pertains to growing through particulars in time in which one is traveling a conflicted existence, still (in this write, one, optimistically) making it through by way of others, and realizing such. Unfortunately, though, that's not always the case.
I wrote this lyric after having just seen an interview with Nirvana's late frontman Kurt Cobain--a q&a in which he, basically, in part seemed to, rag on learning and playing guitar, revealed kind of not knowing how to play, didn't feel that he was even good at playing guitar, or that he even understood chords or knew how to correctly move his fingers about the guitar with any semblance at all.
Kurt's remarks, re: "that" were quite the on-brand grunge-rock not-care cool attitude answers, yes. No doubt, too, what he felt his fans would welcome best from him, for, he actually was a good guitarist and maybe thought at that moment it wouldn't be grunge cool to admit it. Or, he might've just been messing with the interviewer, because Kurt did seem to have that kind of a joking-intelligent-somewhat insecure personality. Who really knows why he answered the way he had. Nonetheless, it made enough of an impression on me to pen this lyric.

Lyrics
Seeking the purpose Know there's no cure So ridiculous Learn to detour
Dark sun rising Drawing shadowy fear Into oblivion With all so near
Just drive Kick it in gear Spoiled rotten Nomadic years
Through the beginning It shows so well Happenstance, how sweet the smell
No wasted forgottens Though different atmosphere New dimension Beyond what to fear
High plain's drifter Sabotaged site shifter Like a grifter Of time
Just drive Kick it in gear Spoiled rotten Nomadic years

Cobain was so shy, I imagine. I enjoyed the liner notes and the lyrics are concise and effectively honour his adventurous spirit.
I’ve enjoyed following your lyrics, and I reckon these are your best yet. So cool! Really love the line “just drive and kick it into gear, spoiled rotten by my nomadic years” … It reminds me of my misspent youth hitchhiking and conveys a strong sense of sentiment to me… really hope these words come to life as a collab song.
Interesting good lyrics. I like it when there are not many words but all necessary is said.
I love this right concise write where you convey so much in a compelling way with so few words. Great chorus and wonderfully poetic images throughout.
I believe Cobain may have had imposter-syndrome. Didn’t think he was as good of a musician as fame made him seem. Not sure if he was trying to be cool, I feel he was filled with self-doubt.
Anyway! Great lyrics here. I can definitely see this being a cool grunge song with this material. Saying a lot with little words is very on brand for that style of music! “Sabotaged site shifter” is an interesting line, almost a tongue twister there. Cool stuff!
