Stay Afloat (Help me/.... . .-.. .--.)

Challenge: MORSE CODELiner Notes
I used the morse code for "help me" as the base rythym (.... . .-.. .--.) looped it and came up with this strumming pattern on my out of tune ukulele. Then came the lyrics that I wrote in August which were waiting for a melody. #singersongwriter #ukulele #synth
Lyrics
No other option if I wanted to stay alive I self-diagnosed at 25
Life is brutal when itβs underlined with hope And youβre only try ing to stay afloat
Stay afloat Stay afloat
On top of that everything feels like a test How I do on my way to a success (be successful)
For a while I threw on a disguise (No one noticed I put on disguise) It was easier than trying to improvise
Everything is just a game Which part you play, what face you pull, what move you make
It got so bad I lost my mind Recovery looked better on paper than it does right now

@berni1954 it's a concert uke, I actually had a feeling that it sounds a bit muffled, thanks for the kind comment!
We both had a similar take on this challenge. Love the opening with the crystal clear ukulele playing against the tap tapping of the Morse.
"Life is brutal when itβs underlined with hope" great line!
Tenor or concert uke?
All told, a great take on the prompt and a fine song to boot. ππ½ππ½ππ½
Hi Zu, this is much better than my Morse code! Almost made me like ukulele... almost. ;) But I like your songs.
Nice take on the morse code challenge. It's a bitter cry for help that hits me hard. You did great, a song to be proud of. It's certainly not easy to catch this emotion in a song.
This sounds great! Very creative with the morse code for percussion. Your vocals and uke go together nicely. Great job!
I was tapping right along with this. Clever, thoughtful song.
