been a fan of @skylermf's fawmsongs for about as long as he's been a member of this site, & im grateful that he was willing to collaborate on this track! i was listening to "don't get addicted to anything" at my keyboard, & thought of some countermelodies that would fit really well. i recorded a backing track w/ wurli+drums, & sent it to skyler for vocals.

I went for a snow walk that turned into a rain walk And passed the barber shop The red light reflects off the ice I applied to some new jobs and got an email back I tried to write them back But I’m bad at replies

It’s dry February which i chose entirely because it’s short I need to get out more I need to stay in If I go to another meeting about messaging I might shoot the messenger At the very least fizzle out I can’t take in a thing
I’m doing all of the things you’re supposed to but I’m doing them in bad faith I have this pain in my stomach, can you come and sit around at my place Some people get scared when they dissociate but I love the feeling of not being here I’m half-addicted to everything I’m not pulling off anything

Ah this is so great! Great call on reworking this one for chill keyboard pop, it works so well - the wurli has such a nice warm crunch and really complements Skyler's voice and lyrics. Great collab!
