Liner Notes
#acousticonetake #countryfolk My boys Vaughan Ray and David strike again with a fine country music lyric with a great hook that deserves a full production treatment that I'll hope to get to after the FAWM frenzy. Here's a 1+1 sketch as an appetizer for the time being.
Lyrics
AS GOOD AS SHE LOOKS Lyrics - DAVID L GRAHAM/VAUGHAN R DANIEL Music - JEFF WALKER
Lately I've got a reason to smile It's that beautiful woman over there I'm proud as I can be That I'm the only man she needs I never have to wonder if she still cares
chorus: My baby Is.. as good as she looks I know it may be hard to believe My baby is ..as good as she looks And it's good that she is lookin' at me
verse: I can’t believe those big blue eyes And Lord knows I thank him everyday That she tells she’s mine So I better walk the line Oh, that woman’s a woman in every way repeat chorus:
bridge:
Woman makes the whole world shine.. And when I head home none of my friends wonder why They just call me one lucky, lucky guy..

you cant go wrong when jeff sings mctown and vaughan, a full production would make this more commercial, but personally i prefer hearing jeff singing alone with his guitar. and this time around, he is playing that guitar just how is asks to be played.
Killer track - love the strummin' and guitar sound. Great lyric to write to and you deliver it vocally very well. I enjoyed listening.
You are "the man", Jeff!! Thanks to you and David we have a love song. The closest thing to magic! 😀
Really great work. Love the sound of the guitar. Is that an open tuning?
Sweet happy song... I love that chorus!
Lovely laid back country feel to this one. The vocal phrasing is great.
The best collaborators out there if y'all are wanting some authentic country. Great, great job! ❤️
Jeff and Vaughan... good job, my friends....
Amidst all the chaos and darkness, there's always a need for a good old fashioned love song and this hits the spot. Anyone with a good significant other can def relate...I know I ended up with way better than I deserve! Fine bit o' pickin' & singin'! 😀
