That may be the sweetest sounding protest song ever! So sad that we need to be ready to fight but it’s good to know others are too.
I really enjoyed this song. I could imagine a whole story line behind it like maybe it should be in a movie soundtrack. I listened because I am posting a new protest song today and I wanted to hear others. There are similar themes. It must be in the ether. Thank you.
I read through the lyric before listening and was thinking this had a proper angry energy but tempered with a well thought out perspective. Then the guitar and lovely melody started and it took me back a bit. A lovely protest, well thought out. A song of bringing together like minded folks. A little different than expected but much more lovely.
Really nice tune and picking, I liked the effect when you held the singing notes and changed chords underneath. It's an unusually warm and gentle sounding protest song and perhaps all the better for that!
