Seeing the #publicdomain challenge, for some reason that old Bugs Bunny cartoon with WWII soldiers coming home to the tune of “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” came to mind. And thanks to the internet, I learned that the song was initially written during the Civil War. Anyway, it inspired me to write yet another protest song about what it will feel like to finally be rid of Tangerine Palpatine.

Enjoying #tit4tat and the wonderful finds I'm finding - like this one! So good, says so much in a right to the point and catchy way - and that tune makes it a protest song for the ages! Such a great, mournful tune to start with. It is a perfect one for these somewhat hopeless times. Yet your lyrics give me hope so it is a nice juxtaposition. Nice one!
