Lyrics
V1 Neuro-spicy Children Need a special kind of Mom A Motivator Mama, One who's kind, patient and strong. V2 When her kiddos need her comfort, Or to know she's got their back, She knows just when to push them, Or when to cut them slack.
Chorus: She's a Motivator Mama, Some call her Mama Bear, Not the kind of bear that's covered In thick dark hair, She can navigate the system And ya know, that's kinda rare. She's a Motivator Mama, Just a Motivator Mama
V3 Kids don't come with their instructions, But they sure can come with needs Sometimes way beyond the ken Of their parental plebes. V4 But a Motivator Mama is right there at their side, And soon becomes an expert On this complicated ride.
Chorus: She's a Motivator Mama, Some call her Mama Bear, Not the kind of bear that's covered In thick dark hair, She can navigate the system And ya know, that's kinda rare. She's a Motivator Mama, Just a Motivator Mama
Bridge: When your child can read before she's 2 But has a helluva time with tying her shoe, At 4 makes experts prick up their ears, But comes home from school hiding her tears, When the teacher is ready to throw up her hands Because this kind of child was not in her plans, Well that's really when you need A Motivator Mama
Chorus: She's a Motivator Mama, Some call her Mama Bear, Not the kind of bear that's covered In thick dark hair, She can navigate the system, And ya know that's kinda rare, She's a Motivator Mama, Just a Motivator Mama A Motivator Mama

As a neurospicy person, I really appreciated the sentiment. Beautiful lyrics! Loved this one.
It sounds like you are intimately familiar with the important loving supportive and advocating roles that motivating mamas play in helping their uniquely wonderful children navigate this world to promote their success and happiness - and to help others better understand. It is a compelling lyric with a relevant message! While my 23 yo son is navigating life well as a young adult my 27 yo son still needs a lot of additional support. This lyric resonates with me. Thanks for sharing!!
This lyric really speaks to my experience with my own neuro-spicy child. You captured so much here.
Beautiful lyrics, Sheila. Love the great picture of motivator mama bear :)
