He follows me everywhere I go I can barely leave his sight He smiles when I call him out Even acts like my shining knight But I know he has been in my rooms and has gone through my things He found the files I have of him I wonder what he thinks

He watches every step I take he follows, follows in my wake He waits for the day I'll break But all I do I do for his sake

He's afraid I might be a danger a murderer, a conman, a thief but he can't deny the attraction no matter what he believes Every day he gets closer to me now he's walking at my side he is flirting, yet still wants to know what mysteries I hide

There he is, alone and in pain I take him home so he can sleep I clean his apartment, and make him a meal And then watch him (like a creep)

The tension between them is quite intriguing, with attraction warring with doubt. Your lyrics portray that well.

Probably not the case but my imagination creates a scene of a man and his dog (or a dog and his man ;)) The further I read the more unlikely it becomes but once an imagination is created its hard to unsee it ;)

Interesting twist to an already interesting story. It could easily be an episode, or several, of a cool mystery series. Your writing style for this flows easily and conversationally, and has a nicely worked rhyme scheme. I really enjoyed reading it. I want to know more of the story, lol! Great job!

I like the way the lyric feels like a house of mirrors where the singer is stalking someone because the someone is a stalker. Nicely unreliable narrator.
