This is about and for my little sister. <3

Lyrics

When we were kids I tripped you into a wall Playing kickball I didn't mean to In pictures you were Frankenstein('s monster (obviously))

It wasn't funny then More like traumatizing For you more than (for) me I'm really sorry Can’t stop apologizing

Damage done is damage done Not like we're off the hook I love you like everything I hope you're going good

Sometimes I surprise myself With how the words come out I'm an amalgamation Of everyone I've known and loved

Stick flint into the caution At the baring of our souls A kinship in the people With different experiences

When I talk to you It still feels like we are kids

Fucking gorgeous. Apologies for the swears, but this is sooooo beautiful. Wonderful understated power and lyrics that completely immerse me in your story. Thank you.

That’s how you title a song! And the song came out really great! Siblings seem great! I hope she got or gets you back for old times sake!!

@wynia

I hope you shared it with her! I came for the title but wasn’t expecting a tender music about siblings! At so many times I was imagining moments with my own brother…the line “When I talk to you It still feels like we are kids” rings true, sometimes for better and sometimes for worse when we shift into our selves from decades past. Enjoyed this 💚
